Goals for the Borough and Centennial Committee:
Encourage every person, schoolchild, business and organization in the community to be involved in some manner.
Sponsor/support events throughout the year, throughout the community. Events may include parade, picnic, opening time capsule, etc.
Produce commemorative publications and commemorative items for sale to the public.
Encourage every group and organization in the area to participate through sponsoring an event, hosting an event, preparing a display, sharing/publicizing its history, etc. Support such efforts by publishing a calendar/directory of events, and coordinating and sharing the Boroughs resources for maximum benefit.
Establish framework for continuing celebration of the Borough’s history through ongoing programs, publications, commemorative items and fundraising.
Committee Structure:
I. Executive (Steering) Committee:
Dave Hollod, Mayor Gallagher, Council Liaison, and Chairs, Vice Chairs or Members of Standing Committees
Meet regularly (at least twice a month) to plan/coordinate all activities.
Standing Committees:
A. Events - Responsible for development, planning and execution of all Centennial events throughout the year. Arrange for all logistics such as location of events, refreshments, music, entertainment, etc. Work closely with Plenary Committee to develop suitable events and lend Borough resources as appropriate.

B. Research/Education - Responsible for research of Borough history for purposes of producing official publications and printed material. Help in development of appropriate Centennial events. Outreach to schools to promote awareness of Boroughs history and participation in official events. Coordinate events with County and other organizations.

C. Publicity/Publications Responsible for publicity (press, radio, VilleTV, etc.) of all events. Produce a Calendar of Events, and all other suitable printed material for the celebration. Develop appropriate commemorative items for sale and distribution.

Comprised of and open to all organizations within the community.
Organizations provide representatives to monthly meetings for the purpose of brainstorming ideas, developing events, coordinate with Borough events, etc. Organizations provide name of at least one contact person/liaison
