Chipper Program
The Borough of Somerville will again provide a chipper program in order to assist residents with the removal of yard debris from their property.
All materials must be placed between the curb and sidewalk for collection. The material must be capable of going through the chipper with out binding the blades, which means the material has to be at least ¾ of an inch round at the base. Hedges present a problem if they are long and thin. Larger tree parts such as the trunk and larger pieces of wood will be collected on a different schedule please call 908-725-2300 ex- 1961 or 1195 for larger material.
Chipper Schedule:
Monday: EAST END Starting on North Adamsville all the way to Grove Street
Tuesday: WEST END Starting on Cornell all the way to Grove Street.
Friday: SOUTH SIDE AND DEVELOPMENTS OFF GASTON AVE
Everything on the Southside of town off of Main Street and the two developments off North Gaston Ave.
