Landfill Environmental Update
This is the presentation made to the Borough Council on Monday March 16, 2009 by environmental Engineers GeoSyntec.
Testing will commence March 23 and continue through June, 2009.
Following this testing and the related analysis, we will apply for additional grants from the NJ DEP to complete a Remedial Action Workplan (RAW), the objective is to have this complete by June 2010. Once the RAW is approved by the NJ DEP remediation (clean-up) of the area can begin.

Landfill (BDA) Steering Committee Presentaion
As part of the Boroughs application to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection for designation as a Brownfield Development Area (BDA) one requirement is the formation of a Steering Committee comprising a broad cross section of the community.
On Thursday May 7th, this committee met for the first time.
The presentation made to this group explaining their purpose and role follows.

West End Redevelopment Area
These illustrations show the proposed plans for the former Landmark Center.
They show the re-use of the existing buildings bisected by the Deavenport Street extension which is to be build by JSM at their cost.
The second (black & white) plan shows the existing buildings overlaid with the conceptual plan as a reference.
The third illustration shows the proposed plan overlaid on the original approved project site plan. The approved plan is in gray, the proposed in blue.
