Forums to Address Substance Abuse Prevention
How
is your community doing in preventing substance abuse? Freeholder Robert
Zaborowski, human services liaison, invites you to learn more by attending any
of three upcoming forums presented by the Somerset County Department of Human
Services and the NJ Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
Members
of the various Municipal Alliances to prevent substance abuse want to hear how
they can assist youth between the ages of 16 and 25 as well as individuals who
have been affected personally or who have a family member affected by a
criminal offense, drunk-driving offense or probation; a disability, including a
learning disability; a substance-abuse disorder or a mental health, anxiety,
depression, attention-deficit or other disorder; individuals over age 55; and
people who work in Somerset County.
There
is no charge to attend any of the following community forums, but
pre-registration is required. A light dinner will be provided. To
register or for more information, contact Brenda Pateman at 908-704-6309 or Pateman@co.somerset.nj.us or
Elizabeth Savage at 908-704-6305 or savage@co.somerset.nj.us
