5/21/2014 - June is Cat Licensing Month

JUNE IS CAT LICENSING MONTH!

New and renewal licenses can be obtained beginning June 1, 2014. The fee is $11.00 for a neutered/spayed cat, $14.00 for a non-neutered/spayed cat.

There is a late fee of $3.00 beginning July, and an additional $1 for each following month. If you get a new cat at any time during the year, the license fee is still $11.00 or $14.00 (no late fee).

You can renew your cat’s license in person at Borough Hall (I am in the Vital Statistics office) by mail or on-line through the CAT LICENSE PAYMENT link on the Somerville website’s home page (www.somervillenj.org) beginning June 1, 2014. If necessary, proof of neutering and/or new rabies certificate can be faxed or emailed to me prior to the on-line payment.

The Bridgewater Health Department will be holding a FREE rabies clinic on:

 Saturday – May 31

Cats only 10 AM to 11:00 AM

Green Knoll Firehouse

All cats must be leashed or contained in a secure box or carrier.
