NOTICE ROADWAY RESURFACING
Residents of: Post Street (Between Putnam Street and Union Ave)
The roadway contractor for Post Street will be milling (removing the top few inches of pavement) on Post Street (Between Putnam Street and Union Ave) on Tuesday August 12. They are hoping to follow the next day with paving however the weather may not cooperate so there is a good chance the paving will be conducted on Thursday August 14
The roadway will be closed to thru traffic while the milling operation is conducted. The roadway will still be passable in milled areas since there will still be a rough riding surface left behind however we advise you to park your car outside of Post Street during this operation if at all possible. If you have any special deliveries to be made Tuesday through Thursday please call Brendan Nally at the Somerville Department of Public Works 908-704-2490 so we can make arrangements for these deliveries with you. During the paving process the road will be closed to all vehicle traffic except emergency vehicles. During paving you will not be able to access your driveway. Please park your car outside of Post Street for this one day paving procedure
If you have any questions that need immediate attention please feel free to speak to our on-site Borough Inspector or call at the Somerville Department of Public Works to speak with Brendan Nally at 908-704-2490 or e-mail at BNally@somervillenj.org, with your questions and we will be glad to assist you.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
