It’s Never Too Late to Vaccinate
Visit a flu clinic in Somerset or Somerville for a free flu shot.
In an effort to remind the public about the importance of receiving a flu vaccination, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have established National Influenza Awareness Week, which began on December 2. According to the CDC, a seasonal flu outbreak can begin as early as October; yet the population is most at-risk of becoming infected during the months of December through February.
Visit a local clinic, sponsored by the Somerset County Department of Health, for a free flu shot. Residents age 18 and above, who have not received a flu shot can visit the following clinics:
- Somerset County Department of Health and Human Services Building, located at 27 Warren St., Somerville, Dec. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m.
- Franklin Township Library located at 485 DeMott Lane, Somerset, Dec. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m.
