New Jersey’s
Clean Energy Program is sponsoring a complimentary light bulb giveaway to
promote energy efficiency awareness. On Saturday, April 24, Somerville Mayor
Dennis Sullivan will be at Borough Hall from 10:00am to 11:00am to distribute
60w LED soft white bulbs while supplies last.
“The A19
bulb uses up to 90% less energy than a traditional bulb and can last 15x
longer” the mayor said. “That could mean a savings of $55 over the life of a
single bulb. I am grateful to NJCLEP for their cooperation in providing the
bulbs as part of Earth Day in Somerville. I would encourage residents to come
early.”
