8/15/2022 - Paving Notice: Lisa Terrace, Lori Drive, Lee Way, sections of Reimer Street

9/2 Update: The contractor will clean up Lisa Terrace, Lori Drive, Lee Way and sections of Reimer Street on Saturday, September 3.

8/26 Update: Work will continue on Saturday, August 27, from 8 am to 5 pm, on Lisa Terrace, Lori Drive, Lee Way and sections of Reimer Street. Residents will have access to their properties on Saturday. Paving will start on Monday, August 29.

On or about Tuesday August 16, Your Way Construction will begin removing the existing road pavement and installing new asphalt pavement on Lisa Terrace, Lori Drive, Lee Way and sections of Reimer Street.

Work hours: 7 am to 4:30 pm. All work is weather permitting. 

Milling: Tuesday, August 16 to Friday, August 19

All residents will have access to their properties during milling operations. 

Paving: Monday, August 22 to Tuesday, August 23

Access during paving operations will be restricted. Roads will be closed to vehicular access once paving operations start. Please leave your vehicle in an alternate street location during paving.

  • “No Parking” signs will be posted in the areas to be paved and strictly enforced by the Somerville Police Department.
  • The road will be closed during working hours, but will remain accessible to emergency vehicles at all times.
  • Garbage and recycling pickup will remain as scheduled. The pickup time will be at 5 am in the morning. Make sure all items are at the curb the day before your normal pickup day.

Once the road is paved, residents will not have access to the road until it has cooled. Residents should expect to have access around 5:30 pm, or later, while the road is still freshly paved.
