Parking Lot 6, located on North Bridge Street, will be closed for repaving starting on or about Wednesday, November 1. The construction project will last about 10 working days, weather permitting.
Please remove vehicles from the lot by 6 am on November 1 to allow for the paving operations to occur smoothly.
About the construction project
Vollers Excavating and Construction is under contract with the Borough of Somerville to repave municipal parking lot number 6.
- Blacktop pavement surface will be removed (milling)
- Lot will be paved with a new blacktop surface
- New parking curbs will be installed and some areas will receive full-depth asphalt repair
- Final steps include landscaping and striping
- Lot will be closed to ensure safety during construction
