Free parking holidays
Meters and pay stations will indicate when parking is free. Parking is not charged on any municipal street or in any municipal lot on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
From Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day, parking is free on Saturdays in all municipal lots, except Lots 7 and 8.
Main Street parking meters
- Rate: $1 per hour, 3-hour limit
- Accept coins, credit cards, and debit cards (minimum credit card charges apply)
- Paid parking enforced Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm
- Enforcement on East and West Main Street ends at 5 pm on Fridays, Memorial Day to Labor Day
- Free parking on Sundays
Municipal parking lots
- No time limit in lots.
- Pay stations accept coins and credit cards.
Lots: 1, 2, 4, 6
- Paid parking enforced Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm
- Rate: 50 cents per hour
- Parking is free:
- Every Sunday
- On Saturdays from Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day
Lot details
- Lot 1: 100 West Main Street (rear)
- Lot 2: 166 West Main Street (rear)
- Lot 4: South Street (between Union Street & Division Street)
- Lot 6: 41 North Bridge Street (adjacent)
Lot 7: 21 East Cliff Street
- Paid parking enforced Monday to Friday, 9 am to 7 pm
- Parking is free Saturday and Sunday
- Rate: 50 cents per hour
- Government employee monthly permit: $30
Lot 8: 9 West High Street
- Residential short-term rate: $10 per year, per vehicle (3 hours per day max)
- Merchant or employee rate: $50 per month
- Full-service rates (24/7)
- $275 quarterly
- $500 semi-annual
- $960 annual
