Free parking holidays

Meters and pay stations will indicate when parking is free. Parking is not charged on any municipal street or in any municipal lot on the following holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

From Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day, parking is free on Saturdays in all municipal lots, except Lots 7 and 8.

Main Street parking meters

  • Rate: $1 per hour, 3-hour limit
  • Accept coins, credit cards, and debit cards (minimum credit card charges apply)
  • Paid parking enforced Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm
  • Enforcement on East and West Main Street ends at 5 pm on Fridays, Memorial Day to Labor Day
  • Free parking on Sundays

Municipal parking lots

  • No time limit in lots.
  • Pay stations accept coins and credit cards.

Lots: 1, 2, 4, 6

  • Paid parking enforced Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm
  • Rate: 50 cents per hour
  • Parking is free:
    • Every Sunday
    • On Saturdays from Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day
