
In recognition of National Pedestrian Safety Month and just in time for Halloween, we are partnering with RideWise to host a casual, informational Walk & Talk event. The goal is to raise awareness about pedestrian safety while engaging directly with community members.

Event highlights
- Chat with RideWise and Somerville officials about safe walking practices
- Free giveaways, including candy, bike reflectors, brochures, and more
- Learn how you and your family can stay safe while walking, especially on Halloween
Participants will have the chance to win a special Halloween Safety Gift Basket, featuring:
- A $20 Sweet Parlor Ice Cream gift card
- Bike reflector
- Candy
- Pedestrian safety materials, including the 31 Days of Pedestrian Safety Booklet
