3 pm | Walk the Greenway
We’ll meet at Carol Pager Park (parking lot) and go on a guided walk along the Greenway, featuring tree and bird identification. All residents are welcome. Families encouraged! This 1-mile nature walk includes:

- Q&A and discussion
- Nature-themed giveaways
Saturday, October 4
3 pm | Main Street history hike
We’ll meet at the Courthouse steps on Main Street and enjoy a guided history walk down Main Street. Join us to learn about historic buildings, Somerville’s past, and new local businesses. Join the walk or stop by to chat! This 1-mile walk includes:
- Brief introduction
- Trivia and prizes
- Q&A and discussion
Sunday, November 2
1 to 2:30 pm | Emergency Services Facility tour
Join us at the Emergency Services Facility (85 N. Gaston Ave.) for a tour and to explore our emergency vehicles. This guided facility tour features:
- “Touch a Truck” experience for kids and adults
- Meet volunteer first responders
- Emergency preparedness tips
- Q&A and discussion
- Safety giveaways
- Fun and educational for all ages!
