What is the Main Street music schedule?

The Downtown Somerville Alliance (DSA) plays music on speakers along Main Street throughout the year. The regular schedule is:

  • Thursday 4 to 8 pm
  • Friday 4 to 8 pm
  • Saturday 2 to 6 pm
  • Sunday 1 to 5 pm

How to dig safely

Underground electric, gas, communications and water lines are everywhere, even on private property. NJ state law requires that anyone digging must call 1-800-272-1000 or 811, so that operators can markout underground utilities. You must call at least 3 days before any digging project, such as installing, removing or replacing:

  • trees and tree stumps
  • curbs
  • street and signposts
  • mailbox posts
  • fences
  • decks
  • additions
  • new gardens

The Somerville Fire Department invites you to the 14th Annual Holiday Lights Parade on Saturday, December 6. The parade is scheduled to begin at 6 pm and end at approximately 10 pm.
