4/21 Update: PSE&G will be doing excavation work on multiple streets, as part of the gas construction project. Please plan for road closures, from Wednesday, April 23 to Friday, April 25 on:
- Williams Street at Grove Street
- Bartine Street at Culver Street
- N Gaston Avenue at Union Avenue
- Codington Place at Union Avenue
Main Street
Restoration work will start on Monday, April 21 on Main Street, between N. Bridge Street and Maple Avenue. Parking on both sides of the street will be eliminated during this project.
Sidewalk restoration schedule
- Monday, April 21: Grading and concrete work throughout the designated area.
- Tuesday, April 22: Brick installation on the south side of Main Street.
- Wednesday, April 23: Brick installation on the north side of Main Street.
This phase of the project will be completed by Thursday, April 24. The project will continue in May, with milling and paving operations. Please stay tuned for road closure/detour notifications.
Mountain Avenue
NJ American Water will be working on Mountain Avenue, between Altamont Place and West End Ave. Expect minor traffic delays during working hours (8 am to 4 pm). Learn more about this project.
Rehill Avenue
Our contractor crew will continue working on Rehill Avenue, between Union Avenue and E. Main Street. Road will remain open, but there will be a single-lane alternating traffic pattern in active work zones. Please plan for delays in this area. Learn more about this project.
