Purpose
The vision on the Somerville Board of Health is to serve, protect, and improve the public health of the community.
Mission
The primary mission of the Somerville Board of Health is to accomplish our vision through:
- Regulation of enforcement of public health laws and policies
- Appointment of a registrar of vital statistics
- Education
- Communication
- Consultation
- Programming and cooperation with our residents and public health partners (County of Somerset, Somerville OEM, RWJ Hospital-Somerset)
Meetings
Our meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.

- Time: 6 pm
- Location: Somerset County Health Department Conference Room, 27 Warren Street, 2nd floor
