The Recreation office is closed from July 26 to August 5. The Fire Prevention department will be closed from July 29 until August 5. The Vital Statistics office will be closed for lunch (1 to 2 pm), from August 1 to August 9.

Spring soccer clinic and games

We are partnering with NJ Santos Rush to provide development and academy style soccer training for boys and girls, ages 4 to 7, who reside or attend school in Somerville.

About

Kids will develop foot skills, ball control and a love of the game through technical drill and games. Players will leave each week having built on the skills they learned during previous sessions to create a lasting skillset.

Equipment: Shin guards are required. Cleats are recommended.

2024 Schedule

  • Dates: Saturdays, April 13 to May 18 (makeup date is June 1)
  • Times: 9 to 10 am or 10 am to 11 am
  • Location: Carol Pager Sports Complex (Green Street)

2024 Registration

  • Cost: $66 (includes a t-shirt), non-refundable
  • Deadline: Registrations will be accepted from March 1 to April 8

  • Register by mail: Mail the registration form and check (payable to Somerville Recreation) to the Recreation Department, 25 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876
  • Note: Somerville Recreation reserves the right to limit registrations and, if necessary, cancel, alter and/or supplement programs. In the event a class is cancelled due to weather, or reasons beyond our control, all efforts will be made to reschedule the class. If it is not possible to reschedule a class, refunds will not be issued.
