Street paving for gas pipeline work
In September 2023, PSE&G started repaving streets after performing upgrades to the gas pipes under the roadways.
Timeline
- Phase 1 of the paving project was completed in October
- The plates on Main Street are expected to be removed by Friday, November 17
- The work near the hospital is ongoing
- PSE&G will continue working on service lines in January 2024
- Final paving will start after the service lines are installed
Work details
- Work hours are from 7 am to 6 pm
- Work may be rescheduled if there are poor weather conditions
- Residents can access roads during milling (surface) operations
- Roads have restricted access on the dates scheduled for paving
- No Parking signs will be posted 24 hours before work begins
- There are no changes to the garbage and recycling pickup schedule
